Presentation Ceremony of Japanese TV Program "DOCTORS: The Ultimate Surgeon" To Zodiak TV

　　On Monday, July 31, 2017, on behalf of the Japan Foundation, Ambassador Yanagisawa presented the Japanese TV Program "Doctors: The Ultimate Surgeon" to Mr. Gospel Kazako, Managing Director of Zodiak Broadcasting Station. Speaking during the ceremony, Ambassador Yanagisawa warmly welcomed that Zodiak TV would broadcast the second Japanese TV program in addition to "Astro Boy." She also hoped that Malawian people will enjoy watching the program and learn something about Japan and its people as well as the universality of humanity.

　　The TV series, "Doctors: The Ultimate Surgeon," is about a story of a new surgeon who tries to reform a spoiled hospital where most doctors value money and power instead of patients. The 1st episode will be broadcasted on Zodiak TV on Tuesday, August 29 at 09:00pm (the first half) and on Saturday, September 2 at 09:00pm (the second half). Thereafter the first half of an episode is broadcasted every Tuesdays at 9:00pm, Wednesdays at 10:10am (repeat), and Thursdays at 04:30pm (repeat). The second half of an episode is broadcasted every Saturdays at 09:00pm, Sundays at 17:00pm (repeat), and Mondays at 10:10am (repeat).
